Mr. Schmitz's Class Homework August 27th, 2012

Math: Decimals Lesson 2.1 #'s 1-17 odd. Mixed review all.

Reading: Read chapter 4 of Dork in Disguise. Your literature circle job for the evening will be the Discussion director. Since this is a shorter chapter, you need to come up with at least 3 questions (instead of 4) that could be used to generate thoughtful discussion/responses to the book. If somebody can answer the question you are asking with one word it is not a good discussion question. Think of open ended questions like:

How did you feel when __________ happened?
Did anything in this chapter surprise you? Why?
What is another way Jerry could have handled that situation?

Have a great evening!
