Reading: Read the first 3 chapters of your book club book. Respond at least twice to what you read. Can be on a sticky note right on the page. Any type of response like a prediction you are making, an inference you made, a connection you found, a question you are having, whatever thoughts you have outside of the text! Then, come up with two discussion questions that are open-ended to ask your group-mates on Friday. Questions that require people to think are the best ones. If you can answer the question with one word, its probably not a good question!
