Reading: Read 30 minutes. If you have yet to do so this week, make a post on www.kidblog.org/MrSchmitz. Include 2 reading responses to the chapters you read (connections you made, inferences you made, a cause and effect you noticed, a prediction you have, a conclusion you have drawn, some figurative language you noticed, etc.) Then come up with two discussion questions and post those. Once you see other group members that have posted, read their questions and respond through the comments on their blog post.

Math: Finish 24.2 1-13 odd if necessary. Watch the following video.



Reading: Read the first 3 chapters of your book club book. Respond at least twice to what you read. Can be on a sticky note right on the page. Any type of response like a prediction you are making, an inference you made, a connection you found, a question you are having, whatever thoughts you have outside of the text! Then, come up with two discussion questions that are open-ended to ask your group-mates on Friday. Questions that require people to think are the best ones. If you can answer the question with one word, its probably not a good question!
