Sappington Celebrates Black History Month

For the month of February, Sappington fifth graders learned about important people and moments in honor of Black History Month. After they learned about Rosa Parks and The Montgomery Bus Boycott, Martin Luther King's "I Have Dream Speech", the decision in Brown vs. The Board of education, and other events, students created scripts to re-enact important scenes from their event. Sappington students used a green screen app on the i-pads to bring their videos to life with amazing backgrounds.
