Math Video for Monday

First day fun

Students showing how NOT to enter the classroom, before doing it the right way.

How NOT to join classmates on the carpet. Everyone really seems to enjoy trying it the wrong way on the first day!

Snowball fight ice breaker. Students had to write down three of their favorite things on a sheet of paper. The paper was then crumbled up into a ball for a snowball fight. After 45 seconds, kids had to pick up whatever piece of paper was around them. Then we reconvened in a circle and tried to guess whose paper we had. It was a lot of fun!

Great first day!

Tonight's Homework: Read 20 minutes and bring in 3 things that represent you. If they don't fit into your paper bag, that's okay.
