Homework same from yesterday.

Math: Review #5 due Friday, Feb. 14th. Finish 24.6 #s 1-4 all and then 5-15 odd. Check out the following video.

Reading: Read 30 minutes. Create a blogpost on kidblog.org/mrschmitz with 2 responses to your bookclub book, and 2 discussion questions you have for your group members. Then respond in the comments to your other group member's blog posts.

Social Studies: Finish lesson 2 journal sheets and 3 interesting things you learned.

Bring back your TFK booklet as soon as possible.
Also don't forget to return your Sperreng forms.

Math: Review number 5 due Friday, 2/14. There are 3 questions that should go on the back posted below if you did not copy them correctly today. Please heck out the video after!!!

6.  Veronica can type 28 words per minute. At this rate, how many words can Veronica type in 5.5 minutes? Explain how you found your answer?

7.  Maria has $7.50 to buy lunch. If she buys a turkey sandwich that costs $2.75, how much money will she have left? Explain how you found your answer?

8.  Tony had a rope 8.35 meters long. He cut off 2.6 meters. How long was the piece of rope that was left? Explain how you found your answer?

Reading: Read 30 minutes. Book clubs tomorrow (respond in at least 2 ways to the text and come up with two good discussion questions.

Social Studies: Journal pg. 120, summary, and graphic organizer.

Science: Ch. 9 lesson 1 explore it.

Social Studies: Ch. 6 Lesson 1, 3 things you learned, WS 119 and problem solution graphic organizer. Most of these should already have been completed in class, but a few may need to finish up.

Math: Finish 24.2 1-13 odd if necessary. Watch the following video.



Reading: Read the first 3 chapters of your book club book. Respond at least twice to what you read. Can be on a sticky note right on the page. Any type of response like a prediction you are making, an inference you made, a connection you found, a question you are having, whatever thoughts you have outside of the text! Then, come up with two discussion questions that are open-ended to ask your group-mates on Friday. Questions that require people to think are the best ones. If you can answer the question with one word, its probably not a good question!
